Meet the Team
Our team of staff are highly trained and dedicated to provide the very best in childcare and education for every child. Our staff have many years experience and regularly attend training to update and expand their knowledge, experience, skills and qualifications.
Teresa - Manager
I am the manager of Great Ellingham Preschool and have been part of the team for 16 years. I am a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner and I am currently studying toward my Level 5 qualification in Early Years Management. I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
Alongside my management role, I am our Communication Champion, Lead SENCO, and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). I am committed to supporting every child's individual needs and ensuring that communication, inclusion, wellbeing, and safeguarding remain at the heart of our setting.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and going away in our caravan, exploring new places and making special memories together. I also have a special place in my heart for Winnie the Pooh, a little reminder that sometimes the simplest things bring the greatest happiness.
Lisa - Deputy Manager
I am the deputy manager at Great Ellingham Preschool. I am a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, the deputy SENCO and advanced Communication Champion.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and our two children, supporting their hobbies, going for walks together and exploring new places. I love being outside (in all weather), I enjoy gardening and also cross stitch. I have a real love for frogs - they're definitely my favourite animal!
Simone (Sim)
I am Simone, also known as Sim. I hold a qualification in Level 3 Childcare and Education, and I am the Safeguarding deputy.
Outside of work, I love travelling and exploring new places, and I'm often found cheering on my daughter at her football matches. At home, life is busy and full of fun - I have a son, a daughter, and two step-daughters, plus our very lovable (and very slobbery!) Mastiff and Saint Bernard,
Kim
I am Kim, and at Great Ellingham Preschool I am a qualified Level 2 practitioner and the Preschool's Health and Safety Officer.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my husband and our five children - four boys and one girl. I enjoy walking, gardening, and making the most of quality time with my children.
Caitlin
I am Caitlin and I am a doing a Level 3 apprenticeship in Early Years. I enjoy working with children and supporting them as they learn, grow, and explore. I love being outdoors (in all weathers) and encouraging children to explore the world around them.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and making memories.
